LEARNING BEYOND THE CLASSROOM

SPARK regularly creates opportunities for children to observe, participate and connect learning with the world around them. This is where several SPARK initiatives come together. Some of the best learning happens between classes.

FQ Time:

Family Quiz is conducted at the end of every BMC, with SPARK students and parents enthusiastically participating in a spirited family quiz. Topics are as varied as the Olympics, Nobel Prize, Mount Everest and more. Winning teams are also rewarded with a token cash prize.

Theme of the Month

One significant international observance is selected each month and converted into a student activity. A good example is when we celebrated ‘World Book Day’, we asked parents to buy a book that month for their child and inculcate the reading habit. Another example was World Photography Day, when we asked children to observe nature intently (a single leaf, or a berry, or a pebble, or an insect), click it and send to us.

SPARK Achievers:

Students are recognised for achievements both within and beyond SPARK. AbacusPlus encourages children to discover and excel in their individual strengths, whether in academics, Olympiads, sports, swimming, karate, music, creativity or any other pursuit. These achievers are regularly celebrated in our monthly Sparkling newsletter.
